Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy services through medication preparation, inventory management, distribution activities, and patient-centered service. You will prepare and distribute medications according to policies, assist with sterile compounding, maintain accurate records, and help keep medication availability across the organization.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
• Familiar with sterile compounding and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medications per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist sterile compounding with quality and safety standards.
• Replenish dispensing systems and storage to ensure availability.
• Manage inventory and purchasing of supplies.
• Deliver meds and supplies to patient care areas promptly.
• Support distribution processes and pharmacy operations.
• Maintain pharmacy records per organizational, state, and federal guidelines.
• Assist pharmacists with operational and clerical tasks.
• Support medication safety initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
