Job summary

Golden Valley Health Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist our Northview and SHAW pharmacies. The position follows a Monday–Saturday, full-time schedule, with shifts between 7:30am–7:00pm, and a one-hour lunch. This is a temporary role expected to last about six months.

Under pharmacist supervision, the technician performs packaging, labeling, clerical tasks, and other nondiscretionary duties per GVHC guidelines, while providing courteous patient service and support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• 1 year of experience preferred in retail pharmacy.
• Current CPR certification (AHA BLS).

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacist in delivering safe, effective medication therapy.
• Count, repack, label medications for verification by the pharmacist.
• Enter patient data and processing information into pharmacy systems.
