The primary purpose of this role is to fill prescriptions, assist customers, unpack totes, answer phones, and respond to inquiries within defined limits.

Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment, and prepare supplies at shift start, ensuring PPE compliance.
2. Move and unpack totes, organize supplies on shelves.
3. Maintain cleanliness of shelves, check inventory levels, and inspect products for expiration.
4. Assist customers and answer phone calls.
5. Verify customer identification for product sales when required.
6. Complete prescription filling, including data entry and dispensing.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Meet state minimum age requirements.
• Successfully complete background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand to perform job duties and comply with policies.
• Complete a 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards.
• Learn to operate necessary equipment and tools.
• Perform all tasks safely.
• Wear approved clothing and footwear.
• Maintain valid licenses, certificates, or permits as required.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more, based on business needs.
• Physical demands include lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., standing 55%, walking 45%.
• Maximum static pull: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understand company policies and procedures.
• Follow all pharmacy laws and standards.
• Knowledge of MSDS materials.
• Complete Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, HIPAA, and other pharmacy-specific trainings.
