Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in daily duties and ensure accurate prescription processing. You will use pharmacy systems, support cash registers, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Flexibility for evenings and weekends is valued. Prior retail exposure and PTCB certification are preferred, with emphasis on math, computer skills, and store inventory control.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and support the Pharmacy Department.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coach technicians and cashiers if PTCB certified.
• Maintain and promote a distinctive customer experience by engaging with customers and resolving issues.
• Perform duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager and Store Manager, including handling prescriptions, entering data, calculating dosages, and ensuring accuracy.
• Support inventory management, stocking, and warehouse overages/shortages reporting.
• Assist in clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers as required.
