Job summary

Cub in Minneapolis is seeking a part-time pharmacy technician to support prescription processing, record keeping and stock control in our pharmacy department. The role focuses on assisting the pharmacist, ensuring price accuracy, maintaining product knowledge, and delivering friendly customer service while complying with regulations and safety standards.

You will work varied weekly shifts, with weekend/evening availability.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate through two-way verbal and written communication.
• Ability to operate and use various office equipment (PC, telephone, fax).
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and see things in close proximity.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptions.
• Ensures price accuracy and product knowledge for customer orders.
• Maintains positive customer relations.
• Hazardous drug handling.
• Performs department receiving and stocking.
• Assists in ordering.
• Pulls bottles of drugs for pharmacists to fill prescriptions.
• Organizes and cleans work area.
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy regulations.
