Qualifications

• Ability to communicate through two-way verbal and written communication (speech, hearing and writing).
• Ability to operate and use various office equipment (personal computer, telephone, fax).
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to write and see things in close proximity (reading distance).
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read/view computer screens for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptions.
• Responsible for accurately processing customers' orders through ensuring price accuracy and product knowledge.
• Ensures positive customer relations.
• Hazardous drug handling.
• Performs department receiving and stocking.
• Assists in ordering.
• Pulls bottles of drugs for Pharmacists to fill prescriptions.
• Organizes and cleans.
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy regulations.
