Job summary

Cub Burnsville South on County Road 42 is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support prescription filling, stock maintenance, and customer service. This role involves processing prescriptions, maintaining records, and ensuring product availability to maximize sales.

Responsibilities include assisting the pharmacist, handling hazardous drugs, and ensuring compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate verbally and written.
Ability to operate and use various office equipment (PC, telephone, fax).
Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to write and see things in close proximity (reading distance).
Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication.
Ability to read/view computer screens for extended periods.
Requires High School Diploma or GED.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Good judgment is required; direct supervision may not always be immediately available.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist in filling prescriptions.
Accurately process customers’ orders, ensuring price accuracy and product knowledge.
Maintain positive customer relations.
Handle hazardous drugs.
Perform department receiving and stocking.
Assist in ordering.
Pull bottles of drugs for pharmacists to fill prescriptions.
Organize and clean the work area.
Maintain Board of Pharmacy regulations compliance.
