Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (Cub Coon Rapids South) is seeking a dedicated part-time Pharmacy Technician to support prescription processing, stock, and customer service.

You will assist pharmacists, ensure price accuracy, and maintain compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations in a fast-paced retail setting. The role requires strong communication, ability to work extended hours including weekends/evenings, and independent work in a unionized environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate office equipment (PC, telephone, fax).
• Availability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and see things at close distance and comprehend written/verbal information.
• Ability to read/view computer screens for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in filling prescriptions.
• Ensure price accuracy and product knowledge for customer orders.
• Maintain positive customer relations.
• Hazardous drug handling.
• Receive and stock department supplies.
• Assist in ordering.
• Pull bottles of drugs for pharmacists to fill prescriptions.
• Organize and clean the work area.
• Maintain compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.
