Job summary

UNFI's Cub Eagan North on Town Centre Drive is seeking a dedicated part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists, process prescriptions, and maintain stock. Schedule includes varied shifts with weekends; role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities include filling prescriptions, price checks, inventory, and assisting in ordering, with emphasis on safety, organization, and professional conduct in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate through two-way verbal and written communication (speech, hearing and writing).
• Ability to operate and use various office equipment (PC, telephone, fax).
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and see things in close proximity (reading distance).
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read/view computer screens for extended periods.
• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age and older.
• Good judgement when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptions
• Responsible for accurately processing customers’ orders through ensuring price accuracy and product knowledge
• Ensures positive customer relations
• Hazardous drug handling
• Performs department receiving and stocking
• Assists in ordering
• Pulls bottles of drugs for Pharmacists to fill prescriptions
• Organizes and cleans
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy regulations
