Job summary

Cub Monticello is seeking a dedicated part-time pharmacy technician to support the Pharmacy team with processing prescriptions, record keeping, and stocking for maximum product availability and sales.

Responsibilities include assisting the pharmacist, ensuring price accuracy and product knowledge, and maintaining compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations while providing courteous customer service. Weekend/evening availability is required to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age and older.
• Ability to communicate through two-way verbal and written communication.
• Ability to operate and use various office equipment.
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and see things in close proximity.
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read/view computer screens for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptions.
• Responsible for accurately processing customers’ orders with price accuracy and product knowledge.
• Ensures positive customer relations.
• Hazardous drug handling.
• Performs department receiving and stocking.
• Assists in ordering.
• Pulls bottles of drugs for Pharmacists to fill prescriptions.
• Organizes and cleans.
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy regulations.
