Amazon is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our US locations. The role supports pharmacists, maintains safety and accuracy in dispensing, and handles packaging and shipping of medications across locations in the United States. An active in-state license is required.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, national certification, and experience with computer tools; a valid driver's license is required. This is not a remote position with varied shifts and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and ability to read and understand English labeling.
• Experience using computer-based tools for job tasks and data entry.
• Active in-state Pharmacy Technician license or equivalent trainee/assistant license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items as permitted by state board.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by following procedures and regulations.
• Work with Leadership to ensure correct medications are in the right packets.
• Operate automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
• Transition orders through workflow stages from dispense to quality control.
• Count and label prescription vials for bulk items.
• Pack and ship completed orders with proper labels.
• Sort and triage boxes to ship on schedule.
• Assist distribution manager and pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and maintained.
• Prepare medications for dispensing and delivery.
