Qualifications

Active pharmacy technician license in state of employment.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
6+ months of experience with computer and web-based tools.
Ability to read English language labelling on cartons and prescription labels.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items as permitted by the state board.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures and regulations.
Work daily with Leadership to ensure correct medications are in packets.
Run automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
Transition orders through workflow stages from dispense to quality control.
Count and label prescription vials and apply labels to bulk items.
Pack and ship completed orders with appropriate labels.
Sort and triage boxes to ship at the right time.
Support distribution manager and pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, packing.
Maintain equipment and work areas; assist with dispensing and delivery packaging.
Flexible schedule; shifts may start/end outside normal hours.
