Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Clerk to join our Columbus, MS team. You will support pharmacists, assist customers, and ensure accurate data entry, product dispensing, and compliant cash handling in a fast-paced environment.

You will uphold HIPAA standards, maintain clean work areas, and contribute to a safe, inclusive store atmosphere while assisting with health and wellness initiatives for our customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to handle highly confidential information.
• Requires age 18 or older.
• Knowledge of state/federal regulations applicable to retail pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Comply with and reinforce food safety, sanitation and safety regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify management.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities and adhere to HIPAA policies.
• Maintain clean, organized work stations and customer areas.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions per policy.
• Provide accurate product dispensing and data entry support.
