Job summary

The Kroger Co. is hiring for a pharmacy clerk to deliver friendly, compliant customer service in a fast-paced environment at our Columbus, OH location.

You will assist pharmacists, handle data entry and sales, and maintain accurate records while following health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include processing orders, maintaining clean workstations, and supporting HIPAA-compliant patient interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Provide stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist’s professional judgement.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Support health and wellness initiatives and handle inventory management and cash register procedures.
