PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - DISPENSING (2nd Shift -LTC)

Join us to apply for the PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - DISPENSING (2nd Shift -LTC) role at Forum Extended Care Services Pharmacy.

Shift hours: 4:00 pm to 12:30 am

Schedule: Every other weekend, 3 holidays per year

Responsibilities:

• Accurately retrieve, count, measure, prepare, package, and label medications and non-sterile compounds.
• Operate and maintain pharmacy equipment properly.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, standards, policies, and protocols.
• Assist with inventory management and resolving facility/patient issues.
• Participate in quality improvement programs.

Qualifications:

• Current unencumbered pharmacy technician license in the state of practice (certification not required for Illinois techs licensed before 2008).
• Experience in long-term care or hospital pharmacy preferred.
• Strong math, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work every other weekend and 3 holidays per year.
