Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

Schedule: Every other weekend, 3 holidays per year

Qualifications

Responsibilities as a Pharmacy Cycle Fill Technician:

• Accurately retrieve, count, measure, prepare, package, and label medications and non-sterile compounds.
• Operate and maintain packaging technology or manual dispensing equipment for long-term care residents.
• Follow all regulations, standards, policies, and protocols.
• Manage inventory and supplies at work stations.
• Assist in resolving emergency facility/patient issues.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Unencumbered pharmacy technician license in the state of practice (certification not required for Illinois technicians licensed before 2008).
• 1-2 years of pharmacy experience, preferably in long-term care or hospital settings.
• Strong math, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Availability to work every other weekend and 3 holidays per year.
