PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - CYCLE (2nd Shift -LTC)

Shift: 2nd (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm)

Compensation: $18 - $22 per hour, with a $1,000 signing bonus. Payable in two installments after 6 and 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately preparing medications and non-sterile compounds
• Operating and maintaining packaging technology or manual dispensing equipment
• Ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and protocols
• Managing inventory and supplies
• Assisting with emergency problem resolution
• Participating in quality improvement programs

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered license as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (certification optional for Illinois licensed before 2008)
• 1-2 years pharmacy experience, preferably in long-term care or hospital settings
• Strong math, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Availability for every other weekend and 3 holidays annually
