Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a pharmacy technician program preferred.
• Minimum one year of retail pharmacy experience is required.
• Pharmacy Technician Licensure required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Certification through NHA required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots all insurance/Rx denials.
• Maintains petty cash and change fund balances.
• Mixes pharmaceutical preparations and labels bottles/blister packs.
• Assists Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication.
• Receives and stores incoming supplies and maintains inventory records.
• Processes records of medication dispensed and enters data.
• Cleans equipment and sterilizes glassware.
