Mercy Care Atlanta, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our day shift in Atlanta, GA. You will collect prescription data, prepare medications, greet patients, and handle POS transactions in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a formal pharmacy technician training program or two years of college with emphasis in math, science or medical field.
• Active Pharmacy Technician registration in Georgia.
• CPhT preferred; CPhT required within 6 months.
• Minimum two years of retail/ambulatory pharmacy experience.

Responsabilités

• Collect and enter prescription data accurately into the pharmacy system.
• Prepare, package, and distribute medications per established protocols.
• Greet patients, answer phones, and respond to EHR messages.
• Process payments and manage point-of-sale transactions.
• Handle medication charges, credits, and returns.
• Maintain inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Prepare medication deliveries for Mercy Care clinic locations.
• Support pharmacy students and residents during training.
• Uphold HIPAA standards and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.
