Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta in Marietta, GA is seeking a detail-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our rapidly growing team. You will enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system with speed and accuracy, and communicate with customers by phone to address their needs.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm with rotating Saturdays. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package including medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related pharmacy experience required.
• Advanced computer skills are required.
• Pharmacy operations system experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Works well in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions for timely dispensing.
• Enter notes and cycle fill coding in the system.
• Calculate and verify correct dosages.
• Respond to customer calls with care and courtesy.
• Coordinate with doctors' offices for refills.
• Support filing, packaging, inventory, and order processing as needed.
• Develop proficiency in all pharmacy systems.
