Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta, Marietta, GA, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to enter prescriptions promptly and accurately, communicate with customers by phone, and support dispensing operations in a fast-paced pharmacy team.

You will triage faxes, verify dosages, and maintain notes in the system while learning legacy and modern pharmacy software. The position offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED as required by state.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration; National Certification preferred (PTCB).

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Respond to customer calls with care and courtesy; route as needed for top service.
• Complete all prescriptions assigned during regular shift.
• Communicate with doctors' offices on refills as needed.
• Develop proficiency in pharmacy systems (document imaging, legacy systems).
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and order profiling as needed.
