Job summary

KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. in Marcy, NY is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry to support pharmacists by entering medication orders for facilities and ensuring that third-party claims are billed properly.

You will be responsible for accurate data entry of patient profiles and medications, maintaining information for patients and facilities, and handling monthly billing while providing strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AS degree or higher preferred.
• 3–6 months pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• State registration as pharmacy technician may be required per location.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Overview

Qualifications

Attendance Requirements:

• Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field

Experience:

• Preferred: Hospital, Long-term Care or Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• 3-6 months experience as a pharmacy technician

Required (Vermont Employees):

• Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician

Required (New Hampshire Employees):

• Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician

Required (Ohio Employees Only):

• Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician

Compensation:

$16.56 - $19.45 an hour

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
