Job summary

HealthDirect Pharmacy Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to accurately fill medication orders and package them per prescription labels. You will help with inventory control, restocking, and maintaining cleanliness across workstations and the facility.

The role requires knowledge of RX computer systems, and the ability to work nights and weekends as needed. Prior hospital or retail pharmacy experience is preferred, with state registration as required by the hiring state.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field.
• Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision and accurately fills medication orders.

Job Summary:Responsible for packaging medication orders per directions on prescription label. Ensure product is accurate and neatly packaged. Assist in inventory control, including handling credits and restocking inventory.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

• Count, seal and label prescription cards
• Pull drugs and match NDC to prescription labels
• Return inventory to proper place
• Responsible to assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of each work station and the facility
• Responsible for the proper and accurate filling of each individual order
• Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor
• Responsible to maintain all quality assurances as they are given
• Assist in keeping adequate stocking levels
• Must have knowledge of RX computer system
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Attendance Requirements:

• Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
• Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field

Experience:

• Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred

Required (Vermont Employees):

• Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician

Required(New Hampshire Employees):

• Registeredwith the State ofNew Hampshireas a Pharmacy Technician

Required (Ohio Employees Only):

• Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician

Compensation:

$16.00-17.50 per hour.

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
