Scope of Responsibilities

Works under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. May assist in orienting and training employees.

Job Summary

Responsible for entering medication orders for various facilities and ensuring all Third-Party claims are billed properly.

Job Duties

1. Provides customer service and resolves problems for assigned facilities.
2. Accurately enters patient profiles and medication data.
3. Maintains accurate information for patients and facilities.
4. Handles billing and crediting for each facility monthly.
5. Maintains production levels as determined by supervisor.
6. May travel to individual homes for meetings or drug exchanges.
7. Assists in orienting and training new employees.
8. Completes all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Attendance Requirements

• Must be available and punctual for scheduled shifts.
• Willing to work nights and weekends as needed.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: AS Degree or higher in Business Administration or related field.

Experience

• Preferred experience in hospital, long-term care, or retail pharmacy.
• 3-6 months experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.

State Registration Requirements

• Vermont: Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician.
• New Hampshire: Registered with the State of New Hampshire.
• Ohio: Registered with the State of Ohio.

Compensation
