JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in the processing of prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. and a valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.

Preferred candidates will have at least six months of retail pharmacy experience. Responsibilities include entering data, billing, and interacting with the public.

Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY

Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, assists in the distribution and processing of prescriptions and the sale of over-the-counter medications enters prescription data into computer. Performs billings and file maintenance. Receives payments for prescriptions and other purchases. Assists in the stocking and storage of inventory. Interacts and communicates with the public. Reports to pharmacists.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Minimum of six (6) months of retail pharmacy experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED

Requires valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
