Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will assist in distributing and processing prescriptions, entering data into the computer, and handling customer interactions. A valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license is required, along with a High School Diploma or equivalent. General Summary

Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, assists in the distribution and processing of prescriptions and the sale of over-the-counter medications, enters prescription data into the computer, performs billings and file maintenance, receives payments for prescriptions and other purchases, assists in the stocking and storage of inventory, interacts and communicates with the public, and reports to pharmacists.

Education / Experience Required

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Minimum of six (6) months of retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Certifications / Licenses Required

Requires valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
