ShopRite of Shrewsbury in Shrewsbury, NJ is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in providing medication and healthcare products to customers with care and accuracy. The role focuses on delivering great customer service and maintaining compliance with safety and pharmacy policies.

You will input patient data, count and label prescriptions, stock pharmaceuticals, and support pharmacists while upholding confidentiality and quality standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
Ability to perform mathematical functions with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
Input a patient’s information for processing a prescription.
Assist the Pharmacist in processing a prescription, counting and labeling a prescription.
Organize and stock pharmaceuticals as directed by Pharmacist.
Maintain appropriate security of Pharmacy Department.
Comply with State and Federal drug laws and HIPAA.
