Job summary

ShopRite of Marlboro is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in providing medications and health care products to customers. You will ensure accurate processing, labeling, and handling, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy.

The role requires strong math skills, reading/writing English, and the ability to work with various health and safety guidelines, including HIPAA and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include ability to read/write English, customer service mindset, and basic math skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for shifts and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Compliance with pharmacy policies, safety standards, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Assist Pharmacist in processing prescriptions and labeling.
• Input patient information and ensure accurate payment handling.
• Maintain clean and organized Pharmacy Department and stock.
• Adhere to state/federal regulations and HIPAA when handling health information.
