Job summary

Amplify Health in Raleigh, NC is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to join our Southeast Raleigh Careplex, under supervision of a Pharmacist or Director of Pharmacy. You will handle prescription processing, data entry, and customer service in a high-volume setting.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and completion of a Pharmacy Technician Certification Program or an Associate Degree in Pharmacy Technology from a NC BOP-approved program. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Certification Program or Associates Degree in Pharmacy Technology from a NC BOP approved institution.

Responsibilities

Prescription processing at all workstations: prescription intake, data entry, filling, operating a register.
Manage workflow in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
Interview patients to obtain financial and plan specific information for bulk medication programs.
Manage multiple drug inventories according to program policies (340B, samples, clinic stock).
Provide friendly support services to clinic staff.
Assist the pharmacist with Comprehensive Medication Reviews documentation.
Under the direction of the pharmacist, document Prior Authorizations in the EMR.
Assist patients with complicated regimens by organizing and packaging medications in adherence packaging cards.
Document pharmacy communications in the patient EMR.
Assist with drug assistance applications after other resources are exhausted.
