Job summary

Piedmont Health Services, Inc. in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (Internal Candidates Only) to support the Pharmacy Manager.

The role involves assisting with operations, ordering medications, and maintaining patient relationships while delivering high-quality care at our main facility. You will participate in daily tasks, help with reports, and work under supervision to ensure efficient service across our centers.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum high school graduate or equivalency.
• Preferred bilingual English/Spanish skills.
• Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and up-to-date prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes pharmacy knowledge to ensure appropriate decisions in conjunction with pharmacist.
• Assesses individual patient questions and refers to pharmacist appropriately.
• Provide appropriate services to all age groups.
• Discuss areas of medication usage with pharmacist.
• Explain third party payer information to patients.
• Provide drug information to medical staff as needed.
