Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician License.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or ExCPT.
• Reliable transportation to work onsite in Everett, WA.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• As a Pharmacy Technician, work under a Pharmacist to accurately and efficiently prepare prescriptions in a high-volume production environment.
• Pick and replenish medications in automated dispensing systems.
• Manually fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules.
• Read computer screens to locate medications and verify drug size and strength.
• Count or calculate the appropriate quantity of medication needed.
• Replenish automated dispensing cells and handle large quantities of pharmacy products.
• Use handheld scanners to scan product barcodes and enter lot and expiration information.
• Perform quality checks to identify expired or damaged products.
• Prepare cold-chain and specialty prescriptions according to handling and packaging requirements.
• Assist with packing and shipping prescriptions.
• Complete inventory cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Follow HIPAA requirements and federal and state pharmacy procedures.
