Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our patient-centered team. You will interact with customers, assist the pharmacist, and help maintain accurate prescriptions and goods in a fast-paced retail pharmacy.

You will train through our ASHP-recognized Apprenticeship Program and work toward PTCB certification while gaining hands-on experience with Walgreens systems and clinical services, all while delivering outstanding service to our patients.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prior experience in retail is a plus; training provided through Walgreens program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and entering patient and drug information.
• Process prescriptions and assist with third-party claims and clerical duties.
• Maintain inventory and support the Pharmacy Department operations and customer service.
