Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our patient-centric team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will train through an “earn while you learn” program recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor, with the goal of becoming a PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician and advancing within Walgreens.

You will assist pharmacists, use pharmacy systems to manage prescriptions, and help deliver a superior customer experience while building strong relationships

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and handle cash at point of sale.
• Maintain accurate inventory, stock pharmaceutical supplies, and support pharmacy operations.
• Provide a courteous, helpful customer experience and coordinate with patients and staff.
