Job summary

Walgreens is seeking Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the heart of our patient-centered care. You will interact with customers, support pharmacists, and learn through an ASHP/DOL-recognized apprenticeship program.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, pursue PTCB certification, and grow within a supportive Walgreens environment focused on service, accuracy, and community health.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Ability to perform math calculations accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register.
• Support inventory management and maintain stock levels.
