Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Department across multiple programs. You will handle outbound calls to members, prescribers and pharmacies, assist with refills, and draft reports to help meet CMS and PBM oversight requirements.

The role requires pharmacy terminology knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year customer experience.
• Pharmacy tech knowledge and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations of Pharmacy Department programs.
• Make outbound calls to members, prescribers and pharmacies.
• Refill medications and coordinate with prescribers for more refills.
• Draft routine reports and correspondence.
• Support CMS oversight processes for PBM.
• Respond to inquiries about formulary and benefits.
• Communicate drug information accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with PBM and internal plan departments.
