Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current MA Pharmacy Technician license, or Technician Trainee/license options.
• Associate's degree preferred for advancement.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stocks and maintains inventory in storeroom, storage shelves, and picking stations.
• Receives daily medication orders, scans meds into Pharmacy IS systems, and stocks appropriately.
• Records refrigerator temperatures and logs daily.
• Maintains records for controlled substances and assists in preparation and delivery to Nursing Units.
• Prepares IV admixtures using aseptic technique per USP <797> requirements.

MA Pharmacy Technician License

Pharmacy Technician Trainee License

Pharmacy Intern License (MA)

Associate's Degree preferred

Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
