Corewell Health’s Royal Oak Hospital inpatient pharmacy team is seeking a pharmacist/tech for full time night shift (9:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.), rotating through IV admixture, unit dose, and potential OR/outpatient rotations. Roles emphasize safe med handling, accurate dispensing, and patient education.

Our team is comprised of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Our inpatient pharmacy team collaborates closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication management for hospitalized patients. We oversee the medication storage, distribution, and management in a variety of settings. We review medication orders for accuracy and potential interactions, accurately prepare and dispense medications, provide evidence-based drug information, monitor drug levels to optimize therapy, and educate patients and families about their medications. By prioritizing medication safety and minimizing adverse events, we strive to improve patient outcomes and contribute to their overall well-being.

William Beaumont University Hospital (Royal Oak) opened on Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations.
