About The Unit

The Home Infusion Pharmacy is responsible for the clinical management and dispensing functions for our Home Infusion patients.

Scope of Work

Under the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist, perform a variety of functions related to preparation, storage, distribution and dispensing of prescriptions. Within the Hospital, rotation through IV admixture and unit dose service is routine. Perform data entry and other record keeping functions as determined to be necessary to the operations of the department.

Qualifications

• Required: A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or GED.
• Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience and/or graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program. Preferred.
• LIC-Pharmacy Technician – STATE_MI Upon Hire required.
• LIC-Pharmacist Intern – STATE_MI Upon Hire required.
