Job summary

Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic Fulfillment Operations Pharmacy Technician to join our team serving residents in long-term care facilities. This on-site role at our Ashland, VA facility involves operating Paxit packaging and dispensing equipment, handling bulk prescriptions, and ensuring accurate labeling for shipment to customers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, VA Pharmacy Technician registration (or trainee enrollment), and strong teamwork, math, and computer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current VA State Board registration as Pharmacy Technician or Trainee (enrolled in training) in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Paxit packaging and dispensing equipment.
• Set up packaging lots and follow inventory schedules.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.
• Replenish supplies across packaging, dispensing and staging areas.
• Respond quickly to equipment faults and workflow issues.
• Use Paxit Manager and Framework for order tracking.
• Perform audits, packaging scans, and short-fill checks.
• Stage and tote prescriptions with accurate labeling.
• Assist with bulk dispensing, labeling and “owes” processing.
• Communicate delays and inventory needs to the team.

Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic Fulfillment Operations Pharmacy Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.

Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (10448 Lakeridge Parkway Ashland, VA 23005)

Compensation: Starting at $18 - $20 /hr (dependent upon experience) plus $1.50/hr shift differential

Schedule: Monday – Friday 4:30 pm – 1:00 am - rotating weekends (2nd Shift)

Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, your responsibilities will include operating our cutting-edge Paxit automated Packaging and Dispensing equipment, fulfilling Bulk Prescriptions, and staging finished items for shipment to our valued customers. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with and support various areas within the pharmacy operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee (must be enrolled in a training class) with the VA State Board of Pharmacy is required (good standing)
• Minimum of one (1) year working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required
