Job summary

Remedi SeniorCare, a Clarest Health division, seeks an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to support residents in long-term care. You will enter prescriptions into the Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack system and communicate with customers by phone to resolve needs.

Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.

Location

On site at our closed-door pharmacy (10448 Lakeridge Pkwy, Ashland, VA 23005)

Salary

Starting at $20-$22/hr (dependent upon experience)

Available Schedule

2nd shift: Monday-Friday 11:00am - 7:00pm with rotating weekends, (first four weeks must be available to work a 9am - 5:30 pm or 2pm-10:30pm training schedule)

Key Responsibilities

As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, you'll play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. Additionally, you’ll communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the VA State Board of Pharmacy required

Skills & Abilities

• Order entry experience
• Strong computer skills
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
• Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
• Minimum of one (1) year working in a long‑term care pharmacy preferred but not required
