Remedi SeniorCare, a Clarest Health Division, is seeking an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician for on-site work in Ashland, VA. The role focuses on accurate prescription entry, phone customer communication, and adherence to state regulations while supporting a growing pharmacy operations team.

Starting wage is $20–$22 per hour, with a 2nd shift schedule and training opportunities. Benefits include health/dental/vision, PTO, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the VA State Board of Pharmacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescriptions quickly and accurately into Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack.
• Communicate with customers by phone and provide courteous responses.
• Work under a pharmacist and in compliance with State law.
• Collaborate with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals.
• Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Must work with urgency and timeliness.

Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (10448 Lakeridge Pkwy, Ashland, VA 23005)

Salary: Starting at $20-$22/hr (dependent upon experience)

Available Schedule: 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 11:00am - 7:00pm with rotating weekends, (first four weeks must be available to work a 9am - 5:30 pm or 2pm-10:30pm training schedule)

Key Responsibilities

As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, you'll play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. Additionally, you'll communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs. Under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for:

• Efficient order entry and follow-up
• Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies
• Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input
• Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Must work with urgency and timeliness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the VA State Board of Pharmacy required

Skills & Abilities

• Order entry experience
• Strong computer skills
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
• Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
• Minimum of one (1) year working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required
