Job summary

ThedaCare Regional Medical Center - Neenah - Neenah, Wisconsin, seeks a Retail Pharmacy Technician to join the interdisciplinary care team handling prescriptions, regulatory compliance, and patient experiences within supervising pharmacies and remote dispensing sites.

The role supports pharmacists and service line stakeholders to drive program integrity, financial viability, and optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Minimum 1500 hours of pharmacy technician work experience in the preceding 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician work experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions through their lifecycle including order entry, third party adjudication, filling, and sale.
• Maintain the highest patient experience standards in daily operations.
• Handle all technical operational functions and inventory management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with federal/state regulations and accrediting bodies.
• Support specialty services including compounding, packaging, vaccinations, and bedsides delivery.
• Implement policies and collaborate with pharmacists and service lines to drive growth and patient outcomes.
• Contribute to the interdisciplinary patient care team to ensure safe outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of the 340B program and related compliance with stakeholders.
