Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks a Pharmacy Technician at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, FL. This PRN, hourly position supports hospital pharmacy operations and patient service.

You will perform accurate preparation, labeling and delivery of medications, maintain regulatory registrations, and participate in training and career growth opportunities within BayCare’s network.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Preferred: 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Preferred: Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).

Responsibilities

• Support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department.
• Efficient, accurate and timely preparation, compounding, labeling, and delivering of pharmaceuticals to assure customer satisfaction.
• Required Registration: Florida Department of Health Pharmacy Technician Registry or enrolled into a BayCare hospital with a Florida Board of Pharmacy Licensed Training Program for the Employer Based Registered Pharmacy Technician Training Program
• Preferred experience is 1-year Institutional practice or equivalent as determined by the hiring manager.
• Required specific skills may also include successfully passing Pharmaceutical Calculations exam.

• Location: Winter Haven, FL
• Status: PRN - as needed, hourly
• Shift Hours: Varies
• Weekend Work: Every Other
• On Call: No

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
