Position Details

• Facility: North Bay Hospital
• Location: New Port Richey, FL
• Status: PRN As Needed, hourly
• Shift Hours: Varies
• Weekend Work: Every 3rd
• On Call: No

Responsibilities

• Pharmacy Technician, under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist, responsibilities include:
• Support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department
• Efficient, accurate and timely preparation, compounding, labeling, and delivering of pharmaceuticals to assure customer satisfaction
• Required Registration: Florida Department of Health Pharmacy Technician Registry or enrolled into a BayCare hospital with a Florida Board of Pharmacy Licensed Training Program for the Employer Based Registered Pharmacy Technician Training Program
• Preferred experience is 1-year Institutional practice or equivalent as determined by the hiring manager
• Required specific skills may also include successfully passing Pharmaceutical Calculations exam

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
• Required FL Registered Pharmacy Technician License

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
