Shift: M-F 8am-7pm; weekend rotation 8am-3pm

• Pharmacy tech license (if required by state)
• National certification preferred
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred

Pharmacy Technician License Fees: Reimbursement available for new hires and current employees as required.

Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business days

Responsibilities

• Fill prescription items, package medications, meet accuracy and productivity standards
• Label products appropriately
• Participate in pharmacy inventory
• Check in drugs, stock shelves, remove out-of-date items
• Prepare medications including non-sterile compounding
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Process returned medications
• Assist in training new employees
• Additional tasks such as working in the Controlled Drugs Room, managing inventory, data entry, or IV preparation
• Service medication dispensing machines
• Perform other assigned tasks

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in pharmacy and medical terminology; computer skills; medication recognition; detail and goal-oriented; team player; effective communication; pharmacy technician license as required by state
• Desired: Long Term Care pharmacy experience & National Pharmacy Technician License
