Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical concepts and medical terminology.
• Understanding of insurance payor requirements.
• Excellent communication with a patient-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Flexibility to travel to satellite locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, providers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical partners.
• Process medication refill requests and prior authorizations accurately through the EMR.
• Assist patients with enrollment in pharmaceutical assistance programs.
• Track, monitor, and manage on-site medication samples.
• Build relationships with pharmaceutical representatives.
• Respond to pharmacy inquiries regarding prescriptions, refills, and interactions.
• Handle patient calls related to medication questions and provider messages.
• Support physicians and office managers with administrative tasks.
