Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy practice, adhering to regulations and company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and coach pharmacy technicians if certified.
3. Deliver a distinctive customer experience by greeting, assisting, and resolving issues.
4. Perform pharmacy operations such as entering data, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and maintaining workflow.
5. Handle administrative tasks including cash register operations, telephone calls, inventory management, and supporting clinical services.
6. Develop relationships with healthcare providers and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment.
7. Complete training, maintain certifications, and stay updated on healthcare developments.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: 6 months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, store inventory knowledge, and PTCB or ExCPT certification.
