Corewell Health Southfield Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support sterile compounding, dispensing, and daily pharmacy operations on a rotating day shift at the Southfield Headquarters. Under pharmacist supervision, you will perform data entry, storage, distribution, and unit-dose processing, with potential rotation through OR, IV admixture, and outpatient services.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and sterile compounding experience or ASHP-certified

Formación

• A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or GED.
• Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience and/or graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, store, distribute and dispense prescriptions.
• Rotation through IV admixture and unit dose service is routine within the hospital.
• Rotation to OR Pharmacy Services and Outpatient Pharmacy Services may be required.
• Performs data entry and other record keeping functions as determined to be necessary to the operations of the department.

Southfield Specialty Pharmacy - Full time, rotating day shift

About the Unit Provides Pharmaceutical Care according to professional and departmental standards and statutory requirements.

About the Location This position is onsite for the Call Center at our Southfield Headquarters building.

Scope of Work

Under the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist, performs a variety of functions related to preparation, storage, distribution and dispensing of prescriptions. Within the Hospital, rotation through IV admixture and unit dose service is routine. Rotation to OR Pharmacy Services and Outpatient Pharmacy Services may be required. Performs data entry and other record keeping functions as determined to be necessary to the operations of the department.

Qualifications

A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or GED.

Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience and/or graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program.

• LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• LIC-Pharmacist Intern - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
