Job summary

Olympic Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for per diem shifts in Sequim/Port Angeles. You will receive and fill prescriptions, prepare IV medications, and manage stock and records in a hospital setting.

Washington State-certified technicians with hospital distribution experience are preferred. Per diem role with shift differentials and weekend premiums, offering competitive pay on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Washington State Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician training program.
• National certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician in Washington State required.
• Experience with hospital drug distribution systems and IV compounding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and fills prescription requests from physicians and other prescribers.
• Prepares/ compounds medications, IVs and other pharmaceutical supplies per protocols.
• Performs computer order entry/billing and delivers supplies.
• Prepackages medications and maintains records.
• Assists training of new staff and supports drug stock control.
