Olympic Medical Center on the North Olympic Peninsula seeks a Pharmacy Technician to accurately perform pharmaceutical calculations and prepare intravenous admixtures while maintaining strict compliance with USP 797/800 standards.
Responsibilities include inventory control, daily charge review, delivering supplies, and training new staff. Prior aseptic compounding and hospital system experience are preferred; WA state technician certification required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Accurately performs pharmaceutical calculations and prepares intravenous admixtures, including hazardous drugs, based on OMCC protocol/procedures. Ensures compliance with USP 797 and USP 800, including routine cleaning, environmental sampling, and daily documentation. Maintains inventory control of pharmaceuticals and supplies. Performs daily charge review. Delivers supplies. Maintains records. Assists with training new staff. Performs clinic and nursing unit inspections. Performs other duties as required for quality control and regulatory compliance.
